Website Design

With our websites our goal isn’t to create a tool you need to call us to keep fixing and updating but rather build it so you can run with it. We work with Wordpress, Wix, and Squarespace as our content management systems and platforms because these tools are user-friendly, easy to maintain, and straightforward for our clients going forward. We also help to strategically build your social media channels and audiences to drive more eyes to your website. We focus not only on something beautiful but also a site that has the backbone of strategy, audience targeting, and direction to it. We pride ourselves on sites that function simply, look fantastic, and drive business and supporters to your brand.

Some of our recent projects:

The Fire Networks are 5 interconnected but separate organizations managed by the Nature Conservancy’s Fire Program. They came to FSG with the challenge of creating one unifying look, feel and approach that would still allow each organization to showcase their work. First we designed a logo and brand and then we crafted a Wordpress based website employing Elementor, Events Calendar and more and a template that each organization then used for content development. This site is easy to navigate, provides a tremendous value to the client and allows for even greater collaboration.

Help for Haiti came to FSG looking to update their website so that they could appeal to a wider range of donors and share their work more succinctly and attractively. Additionally, they wanted website management and updating to be easy and achievable for their staff. FSG worked with H4H to capture their organizational story and showcase it through beautiful photography, copy as well as an organized Squarespace based website that puts their work and fundraising at the forefront. Particular effort was placed on organizing their fundraising into specific initiatives to allow donors to select specific projects of interest. This interacts with the organization’s donor management platform and makes for an ease of management by staff. H4H has reported that their donations have increased by 10% since launch of the site.

The Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network (FAC Net) based in Hayfork, CA had a highly customized Wordpress based site that was breaking and functionally failing. The organization wanted to simplify their website while still maintaining ease and function for their highly engaging and valuable Blog and their well visited and utilized Resources. FAC Net’s audience are busy wildfire practitioners who rely on them for resources to make their jobs easier and more effective so we had to ensure the audience could find what they needed quickly and easily. FSG worked to revamp their site into a widely supported Divi template while ensuring all past content was supported and navigation was highly intuitive. The new site refreshed their look while simplifying things for both their audiences, as well as their own backend management. FSG remains on retainer for monthly website maintenance and upgrades. The Every Drop Campaign website was created in partnership with Tangram 3DS. This rockstar campaign is aimed at rallying supporters to both enjoy and protect the Seacoast’s waters and lands. The client had a multitude of target audiences and messages and we were able to fine tune the message and tell the authentic story through the use of powerful photos, multi-author blogs, and an integrated social media campaign. The website is created using Wordpress.
