Video Production

Get this - more video content is uploaded to the internet in 30 days than the major U.S. television networks have created in 30 years! That’s a lot of video. Now we all know that not all the video is worthy of the bandwidth it is taking up (funny is in the eye of the beholder!) but it does go to show that customers are interested in watching video rather reading or seeing static images. At FSG at our heart we are storytellers and we bring our passion for the story to the video medium. We focus on your audiences and your authentic story, be it science needing to be translated or a new product to be launched, and we craft the video to reach that audience. We can help your business or organization join the video revolution in an approachable and impactful way.

Our Recent Video Projects…

UN Climate change conference, COP 26 Virtual Ocean Pavilion Interviews with Party Negotiators

FSG provided video editing support for the Global Ocean Forum, Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Ocean Policy Research Institute of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA, Oceano Azul Foundation, and the UNESCO - Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. The group interviewed COP 26 negotiators from all over the world about incorporating ocean and ocean and nature based solutions into climate change mitigation efforts . The interviews were then edited for posting on the Virtual Ocean Pavilion for those involved attending COP 26. See a sample of these interviews on Farrell Strategic Group’s YouTube Page.

State of our estuaries multi-part video series

The State of Our Estuaries is a science-based report released every five years focused on the environmental health of the Seacoast’s waters and lands. PREP the organization who publishes the report wanted to create a way for folks to engage with the content outside the written report to make the content more approachable and especially to give town leaders and those without a ton of time a way to engage with the findings in short stints. FSG worked with video producer Dan Freund to develop a 26-part video series incorporating the science but also creatively displaying the data and incorporating beautiful scenery footage to keep the viewer connected to the purpose - the beautiful landscapes of the Seacoast. FSG served as Executive Director, screenwriter, producer and assistant editor. See all the videos at: https://www.stateofourestuaries.org/video-series/
